Summary
Erich Zimmerman learnt the art of carving whilst training as a chef and pastry chef in Switzerland. In his 20's he decided to call Canada his homeland, settling first in Banff but later moving to British Columbia.
His fascination with the different types of wood has led him to create extraordinary pieces such as bowls, lamps, with hand lathed shades, and boxes. He selects only unusual and high quality wood and takes great joy and care to bring out the natural beauty and lustre in each of his works.
