Clivelon Totan is an Innuit carver born and raised in Hall Beach N.W.T. Clivelon is the son of Master carver Mark Totan. Clivelon is currently lives in Edmonton, Alberta. He moved there in 1999 to be with his Father and access better markets for his carvings. He started carving at a relatively young age - watching the masters, then helping them - and graduating to be a carver himself. Clivelon carves all mediums from bone to antler and stone. He is as comfortable doing human figures as he is animals - but professes a special fondness for Inukshuk carvings.
