Summary
Swiss born and raised to be a very accomplished Mountain Guide, Ski Instructor and talented Photographer.
Having emigrated to Canada in 1939 and after moving around to different parts of the country, Bruno settled in the Banff area where he could pursue his passions for the mountains and photography.
Over the years Bruno created some 25,000 black and white images as well as being the lead cameraman for several Hollywood movies and did several documentaries for the National Film Board of Canada.
Bruno was a fun loving man with an unbridled passion for adventure who could always make those around him laugh and had the incredible talent to capture the perfect moment on film. He was equally at ease with a camera, hanging on the side of a cliff, on back country travel, or skiing the biggest peaks.
